How To Install Archey On Ubuntu/Debian

Archey in Ubuntu, originally written for Arch Linux, it provides the basic system and the operating system logo. Now available in Ubuntu, which is written in Python, new support for Debian and Ubuntu, is very well done and easy to display computer information systems with one simple command.


$  sudo apt-get install lsb-release scrot

sudo apt-get install lsb-release scrot
sudo apt-get install lsb-release scrot
sudo apt-get install lsb-release scrot
Download Archey

$ wget https://github.com/downloads/djmelik/archey/archey-0.2.8.deb

if get error on wget can use curl 

$ sudo apt-get install curl 

$ curl -O https://github.com/downloads/djmelik/archey/archey-0.2.8.deb

Install Deb File

$ sudo dpkg -i archey-0.2.8.deb 

if it fails to install can be downloaded manually and then install command as above

archey usage

$ archey
